David Duchovny enters sex rehab
David Duchovny has checked into rehab for sex addiction. "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the actor said in a statement yesterday. "I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family." David, who plays an oversexed writer in Californication, is married to actress Téa Leoni. They have a son and daughter together. "All of us at Showtime wish David and his family the best during this very private time," the network's executive vice president of corporate communications told E! News. David has been rumored to have a sex addiction for a while. Back in 1997, he said in a Playgirl interview, "I'm not a sex addict. I have never been to those meetings... It's not funny and I'll be glad when it goes away."
