The American Idol star and his friend, music producer Jaymes Foster welcomed a baby son — Parker Foster Aiken — into the world at 8:08 a.m. on Friday, August 8. “Wow — 8:08... 08/08/08,” Clay writes in his blog, adding, “the little man his healthy, happy and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well, also.” Parker, who weighed in at 6 pounds, 2 ounces, was named for Clay’s late stepfather, Ray Parker.

While Jaymes and Clay aren’t romantically involved, they plan on raising their son together. “The Aiken family, the Foster family and the Parker family are all thrilled,” Clay writes.
