Brenda might be back

Hollywood's original hell-raiser, Shannen Doherty, looks like she may reprise the role that made her famous, Brenda Walsh, in the CW's remake of Beverly Hills, 90210. Sources tell ew.com that the producers of the new series have met with Shannen and that she is definitely interested. "But she wants to know what the story is going to be first," says an insider. And it seems she wants more money than they're offering, says the insider. There's also still some bad blood between her and her former co-stars, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth, but Jennie herself says, "A lot of time has passed, and I'm a big girl. I'd have no problem with her coming on the show." Other insiders agree that having Brenda back would be a great thing for everyone. "This is a win-win for all parties," says a 90210 insider to ew.com. "Shannen has a shot to get back in the public eye and make things right with the show that gave her her career, and the CW can generate some much-needed buzz and guarantee some major sampling of 90210."
