Suri Cruise celebrated her second birthday on April 18 with a party fit for a queen! Her loving parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, marked the milestone with a $100,000 afternoon party for 24 of their closest friends and family at a home in the Hollywood Hills, which Tom filled with more than $17,000 worth of fresh flowers. According to an insider, absolutely no expense was spared to make Suri's birthday the best day of her life. A friend of the Cruises’ tells In Touch that the theme of the bash was butterflies, which the birthday girl happens to be obsessed with. "Suri adores butterflies," the insider says. The guests for the daytime event included Tom's mom, Mary Lee South, as well as his two children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, Isabella and Connor. "It was immediate family and their closest friends only," the insider says. "There were no celebrities invited to the daytime bash."

The insider also says that the Cruises spent almost $5,000 on cakes from LA's Sweet Lady Jane bakery. Each of the 24 guests received a personalized cake, but the pièce de résistance was the lucky little lady's four-tiered confection, which was, of course, decorated with white buttercream frosting and accented with sugar-paste bumblebees and butterflies! "All of the cakes were Italian-wedding flavored, but specifically made without the usual rum," says a party guest. "Obviously, they wanted them non-alcoholic since Suri is only 2." But the sweets didn't stop there; Tom also ordered $230 worth of cupcakes from LA bakery Sprinkles, since Katie is a huge fan of the petite treats.

But later that night, the insider reveals that Tom and Katie invited their A-list pals, including David and Victoria Beckham, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Eva Longoria Parker, and Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy to a second celebration. "The catering bill for the two parties cost Tom more than $45,000," reveals the insider, who adds that Tom asked his friend, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, to cater the events.

"It was a great party," says an attendee. "Suri was in a really great mood and loved having all the balloons around.” Certainly, when it comes to celebrating his little girl's big day, money is no object for Tom Cruise!

Seal’s Ex: Don’t Take Him Back
The song that Seal chose for his performance on a recent episode of Ellen — Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” — seemed specifically designed to make his estranged wife, Heidi Klum, reconsider her decision to end their marriage. While Seal may have good reason to endear himself to Heidi — who has legions of fans and pulled in a whopping $20 million last year — former supermodel Tatjana Patitz, 45, maintains that the singer is a selfish, immature man who is prone to frightening rages. “He is not a nice person,” Tatjana, who dated Seal for nearly a year, tells In Touch.
